Join a meditation course online

Always wanted to learn to meditate but never quite got on board with it? I hear you. Meditation is definitely not a quick fix but, with practice, the ripple effect into your life is so far reaching that it is very much worth the time.

I run 4-week meditation courses online, always accessible to beginners, where my aim is to leave you with a felt sense of what practice means for you.

The tools and practices I share blend ancient wisdom with modern day psychology. Absolutely anyone can benefit, no matter who you are and no matter what your reason is for wanting to learn to meditate.

Foundations of meditation

1:1 Meditation Mentoring

1:1 mentoring goes beyond just teaching meditation. In these precious containers, we will work together to bring you back into a state of balance. There is no typical client; I work with people suffering from emotional disturbances as well as those who are seeking to live life more fully or to boost their creative spark. Wherever you find yourself, 1:1 is tailored to the needs of the individual.

The process we will embark on is difficult to describe, but meditation lies at its core. Your own practice will provide a beautiful, embodied foundation for this deeper journeying inwards to take place. As your practice grows more stable, the easier you will find it to shift your focus, make decisions aligned with your true nature and see your experience of life transform.

If you would like to deepen your practice, I also work with clients 1:1. This option is open to anyone that has participated in one of my courses or has a baseline experience of meditating.

FAQs

  • The short answer is no. Meditation can be challenging when the mind is very full - that is for sure - but we are not trying to clear our mind of thoughts. The practice is so much more about how we sit with ourselves, how we react to our habitual thought patterns. All of that is possible to change even with an extremely busy mind.

  • There are always pockets of time and meditation doesn’t need to take hours. We can work together to identify where those pockets are in your everyday life. Also, once you’ve put the practice time in and you are reaping the benefits of meditation, you will find time freeing up all over place. Trust me.

  • It can feel so counterproductive to come and sit in silence when we have a million things to do. The best way to think about it is that most of us are used to operating in a state of ‘fight or flight’ - yes, we get shit done but we are left exhausted and eventually burnt out. When we meditate, we bring our nervous system back into balance, we train our attention and we are left with this sense of expansiveness in the mind. In turn, all of this contributes to a higher level of focus and productivity.

So what we come to realise is that it is very much possible to remain productive and to live a fast-paced life while also taking care of our nervous system. It also generally feels much better too.
